Tomorrow begins a brand new year, a clean slate stretching out before us with endless possibilities! The world desperately needs us, as ambassadors of Christ, to live the lives God created us to live. This is a time to dedicate and consecrate ourselves once more to Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We offer our bodies once again as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.
Romans 12:1,2 (Msg) tells us to place our lives before God.
"So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life, your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life - and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."
So in 2010 we're determined to focus on God so that we'll be changed from the inside out. He will bring the best out of us and develop maturity in us this year, in Jesus name!
May God bless each of you exceeding abundantly more as you face a new year, with your hand in the hand of our Savior and Lord.

Fight the good fight of faith!
We don't want to live selfishly and only be concerned about what is happening in the here and now. We want to "fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life." (1 Tim. 6:12) At the judgment seat of Christ, Christians will not be judged for sin. We will be judged for what we have done on earth and we will be given rewards at that time.
Jesus has called each of us before the foundations of the world. We all have a job to do. We are the Church, His Body, His Bride. He's not coming back for a weak and puny Church. Jesus wants us to know who we are in Christ and what is our inheritance in Him in order to demonstrate His good works to the world. He doesn't want us to be wimpy, but strong in the Lord and the power of His might. There is nothing more fulfilling than doing something for God.
In 2010 let's catch fire for the Lord! Let's "lay aside every weight and the sin which is easily besets us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Let's determine in our hearts that we will dedicate ourselves to the Lord afresh and anew, and look beyond to Eternity. Let's run straight toward Jesus and the finish line!!!

The apostle Paul tells us since "you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." (Col. 3:1,2) When it's all said and done, we want to hear the Lord tell each of us, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." We don't want Him to say, "You were so clueless when you lived on the earth!"
We have been taught, correctly, that our good works won't get us into heaven. It's only by the grace of God that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8,9) However, God still wants us to do those good works He has before-ordained we should do. We want to fulfill our divine destiny by doing our end-time assignments! He desires for us to run our race in such a way as to win, and finish the course on our Jesus road.

Become Eternity-minded
Let's look at this new year as the year that will change us for the better. This is the year we set our priorities correctly - we will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. The Lord Jesus Christ will teach us to number our days aright that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12) Let's become more aggressive in the things of God because we know we have a limited amount of time before Jesus returns.
