The apostle Paul tells us since "you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." (Col. 3:1,2) When it's all said and done, we want to hear the Lord tell each of us, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." We don't want Him to say, "You were so clueless when you lived on the earth!"

We have been taught, correctly, that our good works won't get us into heaven. It's only by the grace of God that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8,9) However, God still wants us to do those good works He has before-ordained we should do. We want to fulfill our divine destiny by doing our end-time assignments! He desires for us to run our race in such a way as to win, and finish the course on our Jesus road.

  1. My very first blog. I'm so excited about this New Year that God has prepared us for. I believe He has big works for each of us. So lets go full steam ahead. My favorite verse today is;2Corn.10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight withare not the weapons of the world, On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
God has given us great power and we should not waste it.
    I love you all,
    Wendy

  2. Thanks for reminding us about our divine weapons, Wendy. We're going to start using them for the glory of God! There are strongholds which need to be demolished! Yes! Full speed ahead.
